Who we are
Airgap Fleet ("we") is the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@airgapfleet.com, Barnstaple, Devon, UK.
Your clients' data
Private Desk runs on your PC. We never receive your documents, file names or the details of your clients, so we do not process your clients' personal data. Text your AI assistant reads through Private Desk is sent by that assistant to its own provider (for example Anthropic) with detected details replaced by placeholders; your firm's agreement with that provider covers that.
What we collect and why
- Subscription and billing: name, email, billing address, VAT number and payment status, through Stripe. Lawful basis: contract. Card details are held by Stripe, not us.
- Licence activation: email, licence key, an anonymous PC code, PC name, app version and activation dates. Lawful basis: contract (to limit each licence to one PC).
- Support: emails you send us and any problem report you attach. Lawful basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Website: we use Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics, which counts visits without tracking you across sites. We set no cookies.
Who we share it with
- Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website and licence server hosting), AgentMail (email). They act as our processors.
- Our accountants, for bookkeeping and tax.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK under UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
AI assistants
We use AI assistants to help run Airgap Fleet, including drafting replies to support emails. A person checks what we send. We do not use your support emails to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Billing records for six years (tax law). Licence records for the life of your subscription plus one year. Support emails for two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email support@airgapfleet.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Draft for legal review before publication.
